in the following section we report an abstract of the conditions of the insurance cover we subscribed to. If you are interested to understand the covering of the guarantees and know what to do in case of accident, please refer to the following abstract which reports the most essential information you might need. 1. Holidays Zero Risk
Due to accidents; catastrophic or-and atmospheric events (hurricanes, earthquakes, inondations etc.); socio-political events (strikes, wars, terrorist acts etc.) and in general due to circumstances beyond one's control, the policy insures:
- the refund of the individual fee of participation relative to that part of the holiday that was not used because of the return before time due to the impossibility to bring to and end the holiday that was booked.
- The refund of the accommodation and transport the passenger needed if, as a consequence of insured events, the transfer to other infrastructures or to other countries or a return beforehand was needed.
Maximum refund: For Inclusive Tour Holiday will be 2600 euro per passenger.


2. Sanitary assistance SOS
An operational centre made of doctors, technicians, operators is in function and it will provide the following services and assistance to our customers who call the operational centre at the number 39-02-58286384.
Medical consult and possibility of indication of specialists; urgent deliveries of medicines; sanitary return; transport of remains which can cost to a maximum of 6000 euro; journeys of relatives; anticipated return of a passenger; interpreter at your disposal abroad which costs to a maximum of 500 euro; legal assistance. Payment of medical, pharmaceutical and hospital expenses, through Navale SOS which:
- will provide with a direct payment given the authorisation of the operative centre.
- will refund the expenses (for what concerns hospitalisation these are within the limits of public hospitals) the traveller has come across at the presentation of the documentation such as medical diagnoses and originals of invoices. For what concerns expenses which are higher than 1000 euro the authorisation of the operational centre has to be obtained. The guarantee is valid for sanitary and transportation expenses of the patient to the nearest infrastructure as caused by events or circumstances taking place during the holiday. The patient's necessities have to be indispensable and not to be delayed to a passenger's return to his/her own residence. Insured rates:
- euro 6.000 for expenses sustained abroad.
- euro 500 for expenses sustained in Italy.
- 10% of the refundable amount with a minimum of 40 euro for each accident.


3. Baggage Insurance
This is to a maximum of 750 euro for robbery, fire, theft, missed re-delivery.
The refund will correspond to the commercial value referred to the state of use of the objects at the moment of the accident. The refund will be limited to the 50% of the insured amount for jewellery, furs, precious items and other objects of considerable value, photographic, cinematic and electronic devices, radios and TVs.
- to a maximum of 100 euro for purchases of prime necessity following a delayed (not inferior than 12 hours) or missed re-delivery of the luggage by the Airline. All the damages will be refunded applying a tax of 40 euro.
The traveller must report immediately and prepare a written claim to the hotel, Airline or other responsible agents. The traveller has to report every case of theft, rob or bag snatching to the authorities in the place where this happened.


4. Cancelling the holiday
This insurance policy insures, within the limitations and according to the following contractual conditions, the traveller who purchase a holiday-package or an airline ticket. Object of such Guarantee. The guarantee covers the penalty for cancellation, excluding the inscription expenses, debited the client within the percentage established by the conditions for participation to the holiday.
The Organisation will refund the penalty for cancellation which came into function on the date of the event which caused the renunciation. The possible major quota of penalty due to delayed communication to the tour operator will remain payable by the insured passenger. The guarantee functions since the date of enrolment to the holiday and lasts until the beginning of the holiday itself if the insured passenger can not participate to the holiday because of one of the following unpredictable reasons and events taking place at the time of subscription to the contract:
- death, illness or accident of the Insured or of his/her travel companion or of his/her wife/husband, partner, children, brother or sister, in-laws or of the partner in the insured 's Company. When a whole group of people, willingly and together, enrol at the same time, the definition of travel companion might refer to a single person. Also pre-existing illnesses previously not showing any sign of chronicity and whose worsening condition manifest only after the date of enrolment in the holiday. Pathologies connected to pregnancy, if manifested after the date of the booking of the holiday are included.
- Whatever event, which is unexpected, external, not known at the moment of enrolment in the holiday, independent from the insured 's and his/her family's will event and which makes impossible to participate to the holiday. Cancellations determined by danger of or from wars, terrorism, socio-political conditions, natural, epidemics or unexpected requirements ….impegni di lavoro o studio. The insurance does not cover cancellations deriving from chronic, neuro-psychiatric, nervous and mental illnesses. Possible refunds will be allowed with a deduction corresponding to 15 pct of the refundable damage. Such exclusion will not be inferior than 50 euro per client. Such exclusion will not be applied if the cancellation is due to hospitalisation or death. The maximum refund possible is 2.600 euro in case of inclusive tour purchase and limited to 650 euro when air ticket only is involved. The maximum refund will be limited to 15.500 euro for each individual event.
What to do in case of accident.
In case of cancellation of the holiday is necessary to warn immediately the TOUR OPERATOR. If teh cancellation is due to one of the reasons covered by the insurance, the Client will have to inform Navale Assicurazioni S.p.A. - Via Borgoleoni 16 - 44100 Ferrara by means of a registered letter or via fax at the no. 0532-215518 attaching the medical receipt and other documents relative to the causes of the renounce. The report must be done within five days since the event which caused the renounce happened: penalty is the decadence of the right to obtain a refund.
This coverage is covering any eventual penalty exceeding amount covered by other insurance already included in the Holiday Package as offered by the Tour Operator involved. In case of accident, the present policy:
1. will be totally operative in the absence of other covering policies
2. will be operative only for possible risks which are not insured and /or for the difference of amounts guaranteed by the policy already included in the holiday package (the present insurance will NOT cover any exclusion due by other insurance).
3. will not be operative in the case of existence of a similar policy already included in the holiday package.
